Misty's Nest Aviary is a small home based aviary dedicated to raising beautiful, healthy and well socialized Quaker parrots. We spend a great deal of time cuddling and loving our babies.  They are raised to be a loving part of a family and are used to people, other pets and the noise associated with family living.  

Our birds are fed a diet of pellets and soft food made from grains, vegetables and fruits.  While breeding and during the first months after weaning they are fed a high potency organic pellet diet along with the soft food.

We provide medium size cages for all our birds so they have lots of room to fly.  Since Quakers are social birds we prefer to keep more than one of the same sex in a cage. Even though we spend a great deal of time with our birds we still think they are happier to have a companion.
